This position leads all environmental regulatory and technical activities for our power plants, supervising coordinators and staff to ensure safe, compliant operations and continuous improvement in air, water, and waste management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in environmental science or related field.
• 5+ years progressively responsible environmental regulatory/technical experience.
• 7+ years with an Associates degree.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of employees, contractors, and support staff, including planning, work assignments, training, development, and performance evaluations.
• Directs and manages all plant activities related to environmental compliance.
• Stays abreast of local, state, federal, and industry laws to assure compliance and best practices.
• Leads and directs activities to monitor coal combustion products (CCPs) and report findings.
• Reviews, analyzes, and reports on environmental legislation and regulatory developments.
• Prepares accurate and timely reports for regulatory agencies and maintains required records.
