Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, applied science, or related field required.
• 7+ years with Associates degree or 5+ years with Bachelor's/advanced degree in environmental regulatory roles.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating environmental compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees and contractors; plan work, train staff, and evaluate performance.
• Direct plant activities related to environmental compliance and safety practices.
• Monitor adherence to local, state, federal and industry environmental laws.
• Lead reports on coal combustion products, air, water and waste compliance.
• Evaluate processes for environmental performance and drive improvements.
• Prepare regulatory submissions and maintain required records.
• Advise plant management on regulatory developments and compliance status.
• Coordinate permitting and budgeting for environmental programs.
