Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. (AQN), parent company of Liberty, seeks an engineer to support the Riverton Power Plant's safe, reliable operation of a 300 MW facility.

This role blends engineering, operations, maintenance, and project management to build technical expertise that sustains critical infrastructure for communities. You will work with operators, technicians, contractors, and plant leadership, leading small capital improvements and participating in outages and maintenance planning.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree preferred.
• 1–10 years of experience in an industrial/power plant setting.
• Robust understanding of technical components within a power plant.

Responsibilities

• Support operation of a 300 MW power generation facility.
• Lead small capital projects from scope through execution.
• Participate in plant outages and maintenance planning.
• Develop expertise in plant equipment and systems.
• Support plant reliability, safety, and performance initiatives.
