Job summary

NAES Birdsboro Power Project in Birdsboro, PA seeks an Electro-Mechanical Technician to support the safe, reliable operation of mechanical, electrical, and control systems. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot rotating equipment, and coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering during outages and capital projects.

The role requires hands-on inspection of turbines, HRSG, pumps, motors, and switchgear; troubleshooting instrumentation, CMMS documentation,

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field preferred; equivalent training or experience may be considered.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance within power generation or heavy industry.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems including switchgear, motors, and VFDs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment condition, identify deficiencies, and recommend reliability improvements.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, contractors, and OEMs during repairs and outages.
• Inspect, maintain and repair turbines, HRSG, pumps, motors, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems (PLCs, DCS, CEMS).
• Maintain CMMS records and associated maintenance documentation.
