Job summary
Dominion Energy is hiring a Power Plant CT Operator-Apprentice at Hagood Generating Station in Charleston, South Carolina. Qualifications
- Minimum 2–4 years of related work experience with a High School Diploma or GED.
- Education/experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance with emphasis on electrical.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and digital control systems.
- Experience operating, inspecting, and maintaining turbines, motors, pumps, fans, and valves.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, instrumentation, control, switchgear, exciter and mechanical problems on simple cycle G/T units.
- Perform I&C and mechanical maintenance on plant equipment and systems.
- Operate all plant equipment and support outages and emergencies.
- Perform other manual or administrative work as assigned.
