Airswift is seeking a Power Plant Cost Lead / Cost Controller in Dallas, TX to drive cost-control for a major Texas power-generation project, including simple-cycle generation and battery energy storage systems.

The role focuses on cost forecasting, variance analysis, change management, and reporting to project and EPC teams, with 40 or 50 hours per week and a through-Q4-2029 duration. A hands-on, senior-level cost control background is required.

Competenze

• 10+ years of project cost control experience.
• Senior- or lead-level capability with hands-on approach.
• Experience in client-side projects and EPC environments.
• Experience supporting large capital projects.
• Change-management experience.
• Understanding of data-center-related project work.

Mansioni

• Establish and maintain project cost-control processes, budgets, and reporting.
• Track commitments, actual expenditures, accruals, and forecast costs against budgets.
• Prepare cost forecasts, variance analyses, and estimates at completion.
• Assess cost impact of changes and support change-management processes.
• Coordinate cost information across engineering, procurement, construction, and scheduling teams.
• Review EPC cost reports and identify overruns, trends, and financial risks.
• Provide clear cost-performance reporting for project leadership.
