Job summary

OPC is seeking a skilled technician to manage daily plant operations and maintenance at a combustion turbine facility in Georgia. The role emphasizes safe, efficient power generation, adherence to procedures, and coordination of maintenance plans and materials.

The candidate will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, with an emphasis on reliability and O&M cost control, while following all safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• Six years experience in operation or maintenance of power facilities or combustion turbine-driven systems.
• Eight years experience with advanced analytical/problem-solving background.

Responsibilities

• Operate daily plant activities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable power generation.
• Manage work orders, maintenance plans, parts inventory and reporting.
• Adhere to safety programs, training, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate contracts and oversight for support services and capital projects.
• Prepare compliance reports for regulatory authorities and internal oversight.
• Maintain qualifications, system knowledge, and OPC procedures.
