Apple, Inc. is seeking a Validation Engineer in San Diego to join the silicon engineering group. You will lead power validation of SoCs, measure dissipation for workloads, and work with design, architecture and software teams to drive power/performance improvements.

You will analyze data, validate simulations, and help improve power measurement infrastructure while contributing to a culture of innovation and excellence at Apple.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with C/Assembly programming is preferred.
• Ability to operate basic lab equipment and perform measurements.

Responsibilities

• Measure silicon power dissipation for typical workloads and analyze data.
• Collaborate with design, architecture, systems, and software teams.
• Perform silicon power measurements and correlate with simulations.
• Work with multi-functional teams to enable use-case power measurements.
• Improve energy efficiency through hardware/software tuning.
• Advance power measurement infrastructure.
