DSJ Global is seeking a Technical Assistant - Power for our client in the Jacksonville, FL area. You will support Power & Recovery operations, drive training programs, analyze KPIs, and partner with Engineering on capital projects and equipment startups.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in industrial utilities/power generation.
• 5+ years in industrial power generation, utilities, pulp and paper, chemical manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience using operational data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and develop operations personnel.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and manage training programs for Power Department personnel.
• Collect, analyze, and report operational KPIs to identify opportunities for improvements.
• Provide operational leadership as part of the plant's rotating weekend duty team.
• Serve as acting Assistant Superintendent when needed.
• Partner with Engineering on design, installation, commissioning, and startup of new equipment and systems.
• Assist with outages, shutdowns, and major maintenance activities.
• Promote safety, environmental stewardship, accountability, and continuous improvement.
