Job summary

Total Energies is seeking a results-driven analyst to join the Integrated Power CPPA team. The role focuses on assembling proposals, performing deal economics analyses, and monitoring power price trends across U.S. markets from offices in Berkeley, CA or Houston, TX.

You will analyze data, develop market intelligence, and support strategic initiatives while using Excel-based models and statistical tools. A minimum of 2 years in energy is required, with strong communication and Excel/PowerPoint

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field, or equivalent education and experience, required
• Post-graduate degree a plus
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience required with previous position in the energy industry preferred
• Strong working knowledge of key financial metrics (NPV, IRR, etc.) required
• Excellent quantitative analytic capabilities, with experience building and operating excel-based models
• Resourceful self-starter with strong critical thinking skills
• Initiative and ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPointskills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• This individual can sit at our office in Berkeley, CA or our headquarters in Houston, TX

Responsibilities

• Assemble proposals and RFP responses for offtake from TTE-owned projects
• Conduct quantitative analysis on deal terms and support deal leads in PPA negotiations
• Monitor and forecast power price trends across various U.S. energy markets
• Gather and analyze data on consumers, competitors, and market conditions to support offtake strategy
• Devise and build tools for collecting and analyzing market data using statistical software
• Convert complex data and findings into clear tables, graphs, and written reports
• Present results to management
• Measure the effectiveness of marketing and origination strategies
• Support strategic initiatives undertaken by the team
