TotalEnergies is seeking a highly analytical Power Trading Analyst to join our Power Trading team. You will contribute to trading strategy and portfolio management through rigorous quantitative analysis, risk modeling, and the development of dashboards and automated tools that strengthen decision-making across the desk.

The role demands building insights, systems, and workflows that enhance performance, with a strong emphasis on coding, data automation, and high-quality problem solving.

Qualifications

• PhD or master's in a quantitative discipline is required.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in power/energy trading or risk analysis.
• Strong programming in Python and SQL; familiarity with Databricks, Power BI, Streamlit, or Dash is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform ex-post analyses of asset performance and drivers.
• Develop tools and dashboards to support decision-making.
• Assess risk and optimize portfolios across technologies and markets.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Middle Office, data management, and IT teams.
• Present analyses to traders and senior management to guide decisions.
