Kiewit is seeking a Project Expeditor based in Houston, TX, to translate contract requirements into milestones and manage supplier packages from award to closeout. You will challenge dates, coordinate with engineering and manufacturing, and resolve delivery risks before they impact construction schedules.

The role requires 3+ years in expediting or related fields, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to use AI tools for efficiency.

3+ years of relevant experience in expediting, procurement, manufacturing, construction, or project supply chain.

Translate contract requirements into milestones, reporting expectations, contacts, and follow-up cadence.
Evaluate supplier schedules across fabrication, inspection, shipment, and receipt against commitments and project needs.
Validate progress with schedules, material sourcing records, sub-supplier commitments, and other evidence; challenge inconsistent dates and identify constraints.
Monitor the Supplier Deliverables Schedule and Master Document List; drive follow-up on delays.
Maintain credible forecasts and current material status reports with action owners and due dates.
Plan and perform cost-effective shop-expediting visits to verify manufacturing progress and constraints.
Monitor inspection readiness and align shipment forecasts with quality-release status and receiving requirements.
Follow packages through receipt, final documentation, and closeout; record changes and evidence.
