Job summary

PCI Aviation, LLC seeks a KC-130J Aircraft Mechanic II (Power Line) to troubleshoot and repair KC-130J engines, propellers, auxiliary power units, and fuel systems in line with naval manuals. The role includes rigorous inspections, OOMA documentation, and training fellow mechanics within VMGR-252 aboard MCAS Cherry Point.

You will perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across airframe and powerplant systems, and may serve as a Collateral Duty Inspector.

Qualifications

• KC-130 Power Line Mechanic Training (MOS 6216) or equivalent qualifications.
• A&P license or civilian certs.
• Experience with naval aviation maintenance practices helpful.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair KC-130J aircraft and related systems per naval manuals.
• Perform inspections on AE2100D3 engine, R391 propeller, APU, and fuel systems.
• Document maintenance in OOMA and ensure proper records.
• Provide training to squadron mechanics on AE2100D3, R391, and KC-130J fuel systems.
• Maintain power line systems and perform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance.
• Carry out Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) duties as assigned.
