Job summary

PCI Aviation in Havelock, NC is seeking a KC-130J Aircraft Mechanic II (Power Line) to join VMGR-252 aboard MCAS Cherry Point. This on-site role concentrates on troubleshooting, repairing, and inspecting KC-130J aircraft, AE2100D3 engines, R391 propellers, and related systems under naval aviation standards.

You will train squadron mechanics, sign off on work per NAMP, and handle maintenance tasks with A&P certification and MOS 6216. U.S. citizenship is required; veterans preferred.

Qualifications

• A&P license required.
• Familiarity with Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP).
• Ability to inspect and sign off work on all assigned aircraft systems.
• US citizenship required; veterans preferred when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair KC-130J aircraft, AE2100D3 engines, R391 propeller, APU, and fuel system per naval manuals.
• Perform inspections on engines, propellers, and fuel systems as required.
• Document maintenance in the OOMA system.
• Screen component records for compliance with technical directives.
• Provide in-depth training to squadron mechanics on AE2100D3 engine, R391 propeller, APU, and KC-130J fuel system.
• Maintain required licenses and perform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance as needed.
• Inspect, maintain, repair, and service aircraft components, applying technical knowledge to diagnose malfunctions.
• Apply data interpretation from blueprints and manufacturer manuals to solve problems.
• Assist other work centers and perform collateral duties (CDI).
