Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Power and Limits software engineer within the QCT Core Technologies group. You will help design and optimize power and performance for next-generation chipsets, collaborating across system, power, software and hardware teams.

In this role, you will participate in the full product life cycle from pre-silicon to commercialization, with opportunities for HW acceleration and cross-disciplinary impact. Strong coding skills in C/C++, Java and Python are desired.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Software Engineering experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• Strong foundation in software design, debugging and performance optimization.
• Experience in embedded or power-aware software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own or participate in software development for power management in SoCs.
• Analyze and optimize software to meet power, performance and memory targets.
• Develop tools for silicon profiling, validation and debugging across SOC components.
• Contribute to pre-silicon evaluations and sign-offs.
• Identify opportunities for HW acceleration and coordinate with HW teams.
