Job summary

Cadence Design Systems is seeking a Power Noise Reliability Engineer to join the product engineering team within the Digital Sign-off Group. You will develop expertise in power integrity, 3DIC analysis, and optimization.

The role involves collaborating with R&D to advance methodologies and support strategic customers in a Multiphysics context. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in digital and VLSI design, with experience in IR drop analysis and PDN issues, and familiarity with Python or

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / VLSI Engineering with 3+ years related experience or a Masters with relevant courses in digital systems in Electrical Engineering.
• Coursework related to advanced digital logic design and VLSI.
• Fundamental understanding in Digital logic Design, CMOS logic Design, Power IR drop analysis, Circuit Design and Analysis, Digital and Behavioral simulations.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the product engineering team working on Power Noise Reliability analysis platform within Digital Sign-off Group at Cadence.
• Build domain expertise in power integrity, 3DIC analysis & optimization, AI-driven IR mitigation & fixing methodology, electrothermal optimization for digital designs.
• Work closely with R&D to facilitate development of these methodologies and flows.
• Support strategic customers and functional product engineering driving solutions in the Multiphysics space.
