Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks an Electrical Designer to join our Power and Industrial Engineering team in Bothell, WA, with possible relocation to Exton, PA. You will support the design and delivery of electrical systems for power generation and industrial projects, collaborating with electrical leads and multidisciplinary teams from concept through completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or an equivalent technical discipline and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Associate’s degree plus 12+ years of progressive drafting and design experience, including 4+ years as Designer.
• High School diploma plus 15+ years of progressive drafting and design experience, including 7+ years as Designer.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design for power generation facilities or similar industrial environments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD design and drafting.
• Familiarity with NEC and Bluebeam.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Electrical Lead to prepare electrical designs for projects.
• Participate in design efforts from concept to final completion.
• Assist senior engineers with design, coordination, and documentation tasks.
• Design and select electrical systems and components (equipment, single-line diagrams, cable sizing, grounding, lighting).
• Coordinate electrical design with other engineering disciplines.
