Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking a Groundman in Anderson, SC to support the construction and maintenance of overhead electrical distribution systems. You will assist a Foreman and team in installing, repairing, and inspecting lines, poles, and hardware while adhering to safety protocols.

The role involves physical labor outdoors, potential travel to out-of-state locations, and on-call rotations for outages or emergencies. A valid driver\'s license is required with CDL obtainable within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license required; ability to obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift/carry/push/pull materials up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work extended hours including weekends, holidays, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in constructing, repairing, and maintaining overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair power lines, poles, insulators, conductors, and related hardware.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions; safety first.
• Support outages, storms, emergencies including on-call rotation.
• Follow all safety protocols and PPE usage.
