Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Training Program Specialist to lead instruction, planning, and alignment of RRE technical training across Solar, Battery Storage, Hydro, Simple Cycle, and Combined Cycle facilities.

The role collaborates with site leadership to implement training and qualification programs fleet-wide, driving performance through benchmarking and modernization of training practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years related work experience
• In lieu of degree, 9 years of related work experience with High School/GED

Responsibilities

• Supports all disciplines of training programs including Solar, Battery Storage, Combined Cycle, and Simple Cycle Operations, Mechanical, Electrical, and I&C Maintenance
• Researches, reviews, and evaluates training courses and skills; establishes SMEs and points of contact
• Plans, schedules, coordinates, monitors, and reports training activities and participants
• Administers training products and services to achieve company goals and stay current with training practices
