Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Planned Maintenance Technician in Reno, Nevada, to inspect, service, and maintain power generation equipment at a data-center site. You’ll perform routine oil changes, inspections, and assist senior technicians while developing hands-on skills.

Paid technical training is provided, with competitive hourly pay and opportunities for overtime based on project needs. The role requires safety-minded, team-oriented individuals who can work outdoors and lift up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined and comfortable with basic hand and power tools.
• Experience with basic preventive maintenance (oil changes, filters, fluids, belts, hoses, inspections).
• Interested in a career in power generation and industrial equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and planned maintenance on power generation equipment.
• Complete oil and filter changes, fluid checks, and top-offs; inspect equipment for leaks and wear.
• Assist experienced technicians with troubleshooting and repairs while developing skills.
• Maintain logs, records, and documentation accurately and on time.
• Complete customer-site checks and maintain site access credentials.
• Follow safety procedures and communicate professionally with customers and teammates.
