Job summary

Aggreko, LLC is seeking a Technician 2 Power in Reno, NV to service, repair, commission, and operate Aggreko products at customer sites. Role involves supporting natural gas solutions at a data center site and includes both shop and field work with emphasis on safe, reliable energy solutions.

The candidate should be able to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex equipment, and mentor junior technicians while adhering to OSHA and EPA regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience with service, repair or commissioning of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, or oil-free air compressors.
• Ability to troubleshoot extensive equipment failures in shop or at customer sites.
• Willingness to lead and mentor lower-level technicians and coordinate job-site setups.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and moderate repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot extensive equipment failures at the shop or on customer locations, test and handle the repairs alone or with another technician(s).
• Complete necessary paperwork timely and accurately including data entry and use of computer systems as directed.
• Lead moderate job site setups and mentor lower-level Technicians.
• Maintain safe working conditions per OSHA, EPA and other regulations for equipment operation.
