Job summary

You will inspect fuel gas systems, monitor propane usage, track outages, and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and vendors to return assets to service. The role requires hands-on generator experience, mechanical and preventive maintenance knowledge, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of hands-on power generation experience, including 2+ years in oilfield.
• Technical knowledge of mechanical systems and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot generator fuel, air, cooling, electrical and control systems to support safe and reliable operations.
• Interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and circuit diagrams to troubleshoot generators and generator support infrastructure.
• Monitor daily fleet propane consumption and address unexpected usage; manage monthly fuel gas sampling and related corrective actions.
• Coordinate generator inspections, maintenance, and repairs with Operations and vendors; verify completed repairs, document work, and close deficiencies.
• Track fleet runtime, downtime, and outage causes; identify recurring failures and recommend corrective maintenance.
• Respond to outages and support troubleshooting, repair, and return to service.
