Job summary

Diamondback Energy is seeking a Power Generation Technician to support our power generation assets, maximize uptime, inspect fuel gas systems for leaks and valve positioning, monitor propane consumption, and track outages in collaboration with Engineering.

You will troubleshoot across about 60 operating sites, coordinate inspections with Operations and vendors, and document maintenance work ensuring timely return to service while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of hands-on power generation experience, including oilfield.
• Technical knowledge of mechanical systems and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and troubleshoot generator fuel, air, cooling, electrical and control systems.
• Interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and diagrams to troubleshoot generators.
• Monitor fleet propane consumption and track outages to support optimization."
• Coordinate inspections and repairs with Operations and vendors; document work and close deficiencies.
• Review inspection reports and prioritize maintenance by condition and risk.
• Track runtime, outages and failure causes; support troubleshooting and return to service.
