Diamondback Energy is seeking a Power Generation Technician to support our power generation assets, maximize uptime, inspect fuel gas systems for leaks and valve positioning, monitor propane consumption, and track outages in collaboration with Engineering.
You will troubleshoot across about 60 operating sites, coordinate inspections with Operations and vendors, and document maintenance work ensuring timely return to service while following safety policies.
Summary: The Power Generation Technician supports Diamondback's power generation assets to maximize uptime and reliability. This role inspects fuel gas systems for leaks and proper valve positioning, monitors daily fleet propane consumption to identify and reduce unnecessary usage, and tracks generator outages to support optimization efforts with vendors and Engineering. The Technician also serves as a resource to Production Operations for troubleshooting power generation assets and returning them to service.
