Job summary

ProPetro Services, Inc. is seeking a Power Generation Technician to support deployed assets and facilities, performing installation, repair, maintenance and diagnostics on PROPWR equipment.

The role involves collaborating with operators and technicians, prioritizing workloads to minimize downtime, and using CAT ET and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems. Strong safety and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with CAT G3520 engine packages preferred.
• Experience with Solar SMT60 turbine packages preferred.
• Proficient use of CAT ET and diagnostic software.
• Basic understanding of natural gas engines, control systems and instrumentation.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong communication and professional interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operators and technicians on diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
• Prioritize workload to prevent downtime and equipment failure.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical systems using CAT ET.
• Repair, calibrate instrumentation and control hardware per manuals.
• Document steps, parts, and findings in CMMS; maintain safety compliance.
