ProPetro Energy Solutions seeks a Power Generation Electrical Technician to install, test, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain low- and medium-voltage electrical systems on power generation assets. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and quality execution, partnering with Operations, Commissioning, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in MV electrical work, knowledge of NEC/OSHA standards, and a willingness to work in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical college training is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of previous medium voltage electrical experience.
• Previous field experience with data centers, micro-grids, mining, or industrial construction.
• Certified Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician preferred.
• Familiarity with NEC / Country codes and OSHA / Code requirements.
• Fundamental understanding of control systems, instrumentation, and power generators.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems supporting power generation assets.
• Perform electrical terminations, cable routing, panel wiring, and equipment installation per drawings and plans.
• Conduct electrical testing (megger, continuity, voltage/current, phasing, verification).
• Troubleshoot faults, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Comply with OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E, LOTO, and site procedures; use energized work controls.
• Verify installation quality and readiness prior to energization or turnover.
• Participate in pre-job planning, hazard analysis, and safety briefings.
• Document work performed, diagnostics, and parts used in CMMS.
