Job summary

Stewart & Stevenson is seeking a Power Generation Technical Services Representative to provide technical customer service and field support for aftermarket equipment. Location will vary among San Antonio, Abilene, Austin, Odessa, Childress, Amarillo, Dallas or Sweetwater based on candidate location.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, experience interpreting hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical schematics, and the ability to coordinate service with technicians and departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; strong reading of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical schematics required.
• Oilfield-related customer service experience is required.
• HS diploma or GED with 4–10 years related experience; an Associates degree is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical contact for customers regarding service and repair of aftermarket equipment in the field.
• Coordinate service needs with technicians and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical assistance and information to resolve product problems and service issues.
• Troubleshoot equipment with customers and field technicians.
• Distribute technical information to customers and field staff; maintain literature inventory.
• Develop and maintain customer troubleshooting guides for assigned product lines.
