Job summary

Stanley Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager with industrial building and energy experience to lead large, multi-discipline generation projects.

You will oversee scope, schedule, cost, quality, communications, resources, procurement, and risk to optimize client service and financial performance across multiple offices and locations. The role emphasizes planning, coordination, and strong stakeholder management, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering, construction management, or business from an accredited college/university.
• 7+ years in Energy Engineering with at least 5 years in project management.
• Experience in Thermal Generation projects (Gas Turbine, Reciprocating Engines).
• Strong financial management understanding.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement medium- to large multi-discipline projects across multiple offices.
• Support business development through scoping, fee development, proposals, interviews, and contracts.
• Manage permits and code compliance with federal/state/local authorities.
• Meet with client management to resolve issues and secure approvals.
• Maintain ongoing client relationships for business development.
• Coordinate project engagements: opening orders, outlines, initiation, schedules, executions, closings.
• Achieve objectives: quality, scope, budgets, schedules.
• Maintain accurate project records and performance metrics.
• Analyze performance, resource utilization, profitability, and revenues.
• Identify out-of-scope work and manage contract changes.
• Identify and manage project risk from proposal through duration.
• Understand key commercial elements of Energy projects.
