Baker Hughes is seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager - Power Generation for Utilities to lead strategic relationships with electric utilities, IPPs, and grid stakeholders, driving growth across gas turbines, plant upgrades, and digital services.

You will develop account plans, influence investment decisions, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver optimized, value-driven solutions that support reliability and energy transition goals across the U.S. market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Energy Systems, Business, Economics, or related field.
• MBA or advanced business qualification preferred.
• 7+ years in sales, account management or commercial leadership in power/utility sectors.
• Experience managing strategic utility or power generation accounts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans for utility customers.
• Lead complex sales pursuits from identification to contract award.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to deliver optimized solutions.
• Identify opportunities in gas turbines, CC plants, and digital solutions.
• Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and grid reliability factors.
• Influence investment decisions and investor-owned utility planning.
