Job summary

Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis, LLC. (MD&A) in Euclid, Ohio seeks a Commercial Proposal Manager to quote turbine and generator parts, negotiate contracts, and interface with customers via email, phone, and in person.

The role requires 3–5 years in power generation or industrial turbine service or parts, plus 5+ years in commercial roles. Office-based with ~10% travel; relocation assistance offered.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or 10+ years in a technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in power generation or industrial turbine product service or parts.
• 5+ years of commercial experience including developing customer relationships and customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication (English); Spanish fluency desirable.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret parts drawings.
• Strategic negotiating skills.
• Familiarity with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, Infor CRM, Epicor ERP, and ProCAD PLM software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations and proposals for parts using ERP pricing, delivery, and applicability.
• Oversee supply chain planning and maintain material levels for projects.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and sourcing to ensure timely quotations and orders.
• Create and issue purchase orders to support production and stocking.
• Represent Commercial organization in inter-department meetings and reviews.
• Monitor market data to establish pricing; update quotes as needed.
• Ensure final pricing is sent to customers before work begins.
• Develop relationships with key customer contacts via phone and email.
• Participate in business development to identify opportunities.
• Travel up to 10% for on-site requirements.
