Job summary

Everforth Apex seeks Project Engineers from Senior to Principal levels to provide engineering leadership for a growing portfolio of generation projects, focusing on new-build natural gas plants. You will lead design reviews, coordinate cross-disciplinary teams, manage RFIs, and ensure EPC contractors meet established standards while guiding execution onsite.

The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and project coordination over deep single-discipline expertise.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required with Mechanical, Electrical or Civil focus.
• Experience leading capital projects and coordinating multiple engineering disciplines.
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering efforts for large generation capital projects.
• Coordinate civil, mechanical, electrical and other disciplines.
• Develop and manage engineering work plans.
• Lead design reviews and ensure EPC contractors meet standards.
• Review deliverables, identify issues and drive resolution.
• Manage RFIs and lead regular engineering meetings.
• Interface with EPC contractors, OEMs, regulators and internal teams.
• Support construction and commissioning activities, including site travel.
• Monitor safety, cost, schedule and technical risks.
