Job summary

Vistra Corporate Services Company Located in Irving, TX seeks a Director of Power Fundamentals Analytics to lead and deploy advanced models for longer-horizon forecasting and POV evaluations after peak events. You will coordinate market studies, partner with IT and vendors, and drive production-ready analytics across markets including ERCOT and PJM.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in power modeling with programming skills in SQL and Python, strong communication, and a track record in production

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Power Modeling or related field.
• Production cost modeling skills with PSO/Promod/Aurora preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Minimum education High School Diploma or equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Build modeling tools with vendor and IT to production.
• Advance software and extend models as needed.
• Operationalize new fundamental models across ERCOT, PJM and other markets.
• Partner with Regulatory Policy to assess market design changes.
• Lead market fundamentals analyses after peak events.
• Coordinate POV evaluations and workload balancing.
