Electric Reliability Council of Texas is seeking a qualified professional to provide analysis and technical support for operational and planning load forecasting. You will develop forecasting models, monitor performance, and report findings to support reliable grid operations and market guidance in Texas.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Engineering, with a Master’s preferred. Experience with Python, R, SQL, and analytics tools is highly valued.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Engineering.
• Master’s Degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Engineering preferred.
• Experience with load forecasting; weather-driven analytics and time-series modeling.
• Proficiency with Python, R, SQL, SAS, Excel, Power BI or Tableau.

Mansioni

• Develops and supports load forecasting models and tools.
• Analyzes historical data and weather inputs to improve forecast accuracy.
• Produces dashboards and reports for performance tracking and decision support.
• Collaborates with Planning and Operations on forecast risk and improvements.
