Job summary

Fervo Energy is seeking a Sourcing Manager for Power Facilities to own category strategy for major PowerBlock equipment, including air-cooled condensers, heat exchangers, feed pumps, and rotating equipment.

Embedded with Engineering early in design, you will build supplier options, manage negotiations, and structure contracts to protect schedule and cost while delivering reliable, scalable geothermal equipment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sourcing, procurement or category management in power generation or industrial equipment.
• Experience negotiating equipment or services contracts with meaningful commercial value.
• Comfort reading and engaging with mechanical engineering specifications.
• Track record building supplier options and driving competitive sourcing outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build and own sourcing strategy for PowerBlock equipment categories.
• Split or repackage scope across suppliers to cut cost and risk.
• Track pricing and supplier capacity to guide awards.
• Engage Engineering early on specs and packaging.
• Provide supplier and market insight in design reviews.
• Lead negotiations from RFQ to contract execution.
• Structure contracts to protect schedule and cost.
• Manage supplier relationships post-award.
• Coordinate with Logistics to meet long-lead delivery dates.
