Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sourcing, procurement, or category management experience in electrical equipment.
• 5+ years in the workforce with experience designing, procuring, or maintaining electrical equipment.
• Experience negotiating equipment or services contracts with meaningful commercial value.
• Comfortable reading electrical engineering specifications.
• Track record of building supplier options where a category had single sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Build and own a documented sourcing strategy for electrical equipment categories.
• Identify and qualify alternate suppliers to reduce single-source dependency.
• Track tariff exposure and enforce domestic content requirements.
• Engage Engineering early on electrical equipment specifications.
• Bring supplier and market insight into design reviews before requirements are finalized.
• Lead commercial negotiations for electrical equipment purchases and services.
• Structure contracts and delivery terms to protect schedule.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance post-award.
• Partner with Logistics to maintain delivery of long-lead equipment.
