Job summary

Fervo Energy in Houston seeks a Sourcing Manager for Power Facilities to own category strategy for air-cooled condensers, heat exchangers, feed pumps, and rotating equipment. You will partner with Engineering on specifications and packaging decisions and develop competitive supplier options across the category.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sourcing, procurement, or category management in power generation or capital projects.
• Experience negotiating equipment or services contracts with meaningful value.
• Comfort reading and engaging with mechanical engineering specs.
• Track record of building supplier options and driving competitive sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Build and own a documented sourcing strategy for PowerBlock equipment categories (ACCs, heat exchangers, feed pumps, rotating equipment).
• Identify opportunities to split or repackage scope across suppliers to reduce cost and schedule risk.
• Track market pricing and supplier capacity to inform award decisions.
• Engage Engineering early on equipment specs and packaging strategy.
• Lead commercial negotiations for PowerBlock equipment purchases from RFQ through contract execution.
• Structure contracts and delivery terms to protect schedule and give visibility into supplier performance.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance post-award.
• Partner with Logistics and Expediting to maintain delivery of long-lead equipment by site-required dates.
