Job summary

Fervo Energy is seeking a Sourcing Manager, Power Facilities, to own the strategy and execution for major PowerBlock equipment such as ACCs, heat exchangers, and pumps. You will partner with Engineering on specs and packaging decisions, and drive supplier options that meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.

This role requires 5+ years of sourcing or category management, strong contract negotiation skills, and the ability to read mechanical specs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sourcing, procurement, or category management.
• Experience negotiating equipment or services contracts.
• Ability to read mechanical engineering specifications.
• Track record in building supplier options and competitive sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Build and own a documented sourcing strategy for PowerBlock equipment.
• Identify opportunities to split or repackage scope across multiple suppliers to reduce cost and risk.
• Track market pricing and supplier capacity to inform awards.
• Engage Engineering early on equipment specs and packaging strategy.
• Bring supplier insights into design reviews before requirements are finalized.
• Lead commercial negotiations from RFQ through contract execution.
• Structure contracts and delivery terms to protect schedule and visibility into performance.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance post-award.
• Partner with Logistics to maintain delivery of long-lead equipment.
