Job summary

Foxconn, a leading electronics manufacturer, seeks a Power Engineer to own rack-level power deployment, load validation, and electrical failure triage on the production floor. You will ensure 100kW+ power shelves, busbars, PDUs, and voltage regulation systems are integrated, configured safely, and stress-tested for high-density AI compute loads.

The role requires 1+ year in high-density power architecture, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and efficient power management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 1+ year of experience with high-density power architecture and rack-level power distribution.
  • Strong understanding of power delivery, safety standards, and troubleshooting on production floors.

Responsibilities

  • Execute high-power dynamic load validation and burn-in testing for AI server/rack systems to verify stability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot power-related failures involving shelves, PDUs, busbars, and voltage regulation; coordinate with R&D and manufacturing for corrective actions.
  • Configure, calibrate, and validate smart power shelves, PDUs, firmware, and telemetry; verify monitoring functions and protection thresholds.
  • Enforce high-voltage safety procedures during rack integration, testing, and production activities; conduct safety audits and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor power telemetry, analyze trends, and generate data-driven reports to improve reliability and efficiency.
