Job summary

WSP USA invites motivated Civil/Structural Engineering students to join their 12-week Summer Internship in the Power and Energy team. The role provides exposure to real projects, mentorship, and hands-on experience alongside senior staff.

Qualified undergraduates may work at the Fort Worth, TX office with Baton Rouge, LA also considered. Start date around May 17, 2027, with flexibility on exact timing.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in an accredited Civil/Structural Engineering undergraduate program with anticipated graduation August 2027 or later.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Interest in Civil/Structural Engineering and desire to grow through WSP projects.
• Basic proficiency in technical writing and common software/tools.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
• Learn basic Civil/Structural engineering principles.
• Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations.
• Help prepare final design plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
• Complete assigned task training and safety education.
• Adhere to WSP Code of Conduct and policies.
