Job summary

Survival Systems Staffing seeks an experienced Project Manager to own the delivery of power conversion programs from concept to certified, field-ready products in Sunnyvale, CA. You will lead power electronics projects through a full stage-gate process and own schedule, budget, scope and risk across hardware, firmware and test.

Responsibilities include coordinating interfaces with BESS and plant control teams, planning certifications with UL/TÜV/Intertek, managing suppliers and DFMEA follow-ups,

Qualifications

• BSEE or related field required.
• 5+ years hardware product development, 3+ years in power electronics project management.
• Experience bringing a power electronics product from development to production launch.
• Knowledge of converter topologies, semiconductors, thermal management, and controls.
• Budget management above $2M and cross-functional teams of 10+ engineers.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet or Primavera, and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Lead power electronics projects through full stage-gate process.
• Own schedule, budget, scope and risk across hardware, firmware and test.
• Translate customer, grid-code and site requirements into a controlled baseline.
• Coordinate interfaces with BESS, EMS/SCADA, and plant controller teams.
• Plan and track certification with NRTLs and labs (UL, TÜV, Intertek, CSA).
• Lead DFMEA follow-up and root-cause investigations.
