LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lab Manager for Power Electronics to lead the engineering test laboratory supporting a new 50–150 kW, three‑phase AC‑to‑high‑voltage DC converter.

You will build and manage a team executing verification, performance characterization, and production test development to move from prototypes to production release. You will collaborate with power electronics, controls, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure the lab has the people, equipment, and

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Significant experience in power electronics testing, validation, or lab operations.
• Ability to lead technical teams and coordinate complex test programs.
• Experience testing power converters, inverters, or high‑power equipment.
• Strong understanding of three‑phase AC systems, DC power, safety, and thermal performance.

Mansioni

• Build and lead the test team: recruit, develop, and manage engineers and technicians.
• Establish laboratory capabilities: high-power test infrastructure and instrumentation.
• Own verification program: develop plans, schedules, and reports.
• Lead product validation and troubleshooting with design teams.
• Oversee protection testing and safety, and coordinate certifications.
• Develop automate test procedures and data systems for efficiency.
• Guide production test development and end-of-line test requirements.
• Maintain laboratory safety, scheduling, and budgeting.
