Job summary

LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. seeks a Senior DC Power Electronics Verification & Validation Engineer to establish and run testing for 50-150 kW three-phase AC-to- HV DC converters.

You will specify test equipment, execute validation plans, and diagnose hardware and system-level issues in prototype and production units. You will collaborate with power electronics, controls, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to drive robust verification, qualification, and production readiness for annual volumes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Significant hands-on experience testing, troubleshooting, or validating power electronics equipment.
• Strong understanding of three-phase AC and high-voltage DC systems.
• Experience specifying and using lab instrumentation for design verification.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop lab capabilities for high-power AC/DC converter development and testing.
• Execute verification and validation plans, evaluate performance, and document results.
• Troubleshoot hardware, controllers, and power modules; reproduce failures and implement fixes.
• Develop reliability and production-test strategies, coordinate with design and manufacturing teams.
