Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or related field (or equivalent).
• 2 years of commissioning, testing or certifying LV/MV inverters.
• Knowledge of power electronics topologies, control systems, inverter operation.
• Experience with data acquisition/analysis tools such as Yokogawa, Dewesoft, HBK.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for clear reports and collaboration.
• Experience troubleshooting complex electrical and software issues independently.
• Experience designing electrical circuits and working with test equipment.
• Proven relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal/external contacts.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. periodically.

Responsibilities

• Review and execute test plans for electrical and environmental setups for LV/MV inverters.
• Design, build, and maintain test setups for inverter testing.
• Program, operate, set up, and maintain test equipment and instrumentation.
• Collect and analyze test results using statistical and engineering methods.
• Maintain accurate records of all test activities, configurations, and results.
• Ensure testing complies with standards, safety regulations, and quality systems.
• Generate formal test reports for internal review and certification submissions.
• Serve as primary technical contact with third-party labs and agencies.
• Perform validation and verification tests at component and system levels.
• Set up factory witness tests per client specs and quality standards.
• Ensure lab equipment calibration and drive continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot issues with lab engineers and product design teams.
• Adhere to company and client safety requirements; operate forklift as needed.
