Job summary

Role requires 2+ years in inverter testing, BS in EE or related field, and ability to travel 15% domestically/internationally. Forklift operation and strict safety adherence are required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in electrical, electronics, mechanical engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of demonstrated experience with commissioning, testing, or certifying low or medium-voltage inverters.
• Knowledge of power electronics topologies, control systems, and inverter operation.
• Experience with data acquisition and analysis tools such as Yokogawa, Dewesoft, or HBK.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear report generation and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Review and execute test plans for electrical and environmental test setups for low/medium-voltage inverters.
• Design, build, and maintain electrical and environmental test setups.
• Program, operate, set up, and maintain test equipment and instrumentation.
• Collect and analyze test results and interpret using statistical/engineering methods.
• Maintain accurate records of test activities, configurations, results, and observations.
• Ensure testing complies with standards, safety regulations, and quality systems.
• Generate formal test reports for internal review and certification submissions.
• Serve as primary contact with third-party labs and certification agencies.
• Perform validation/verification tests at component and system levels, including safety and grid-support.
• Set up factory witness tests per client specs; calibrate lab equipment timely.
• Drive continuous improvement in the lab; troubleshoot issues with engineers.
