Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies seeks a Power Electronics Intern for Winter 2027 in Northern California. You will work with the power engineering team to build and test flight hardware, design test equipment, and bring up designs in the lab while contributing to automated testing and hardware evaluation.

Internship is twelve weeks, hourly, for students currently enrolled in a four-year university, with opportunities to transition to full-time roles. Base pay applies.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent.
• Interest in learning about power electronics systems.
• Hands-on hardware design and testing ability.

Responsibilities

• Work with the power engineering team to build and test flight hardware.
• Design test equipment to validate designs under stressed conditions.
• Design prototype circuits.
• Bring up and debug designs in the lab.
• Write code to evaluate performance and automate testing of satellite hardware.
• Coordinate assembly, integration and environmental test efforts.
