Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies in Northern California, USA, invites top-undergraduate students to join as Electrical Integration Intern - Avionics for Winter 2027. This 12-week, hourly internship offers hands-on hardware and software work on satellite projects, with mentors guiding across multi-disciplinary teams.

As an intern, you will design, build, and test hardware and software, learn to use test equipment, and help develop integration and environmental test plans.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Passion for hardware development and hands-on design in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Join an interdisciplinary team to design, build, and test satellite hardware and software.
• Develop assembly and integration test plans with cross-functional teams.
• Learn to use test equipment to execute test plans (thermal chambers, vibration tables, DAQs, oscilloscopes).
• Coordinate assembly, integration and environmental test efforts.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical, software, and mechanical problems in an integrated system.
