Job summary

RTX is seeking a junior to mid-level engineer for the Effector Analog & Power team in Tucson, AZ. You will design, analyze, and test power conversion and analog circuitry, targeting non-isolated and isolated topologies with power levels under 10kW.

You will drive circuit card development from requirements through integration, defining schedules, and guiding ECAD drafters. A DoD Secret clearance is required to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience with buck/boost converter topologies.
• Experience with analog electronics design (FETs/BJTs, op-amps, filters).

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion circuitry.
• Guide circuit card development from requirements through integration testing.
• Define schedules for circuit-level tasks.
• Lead ECAD designers on layout and routing, with senior support.
• Act as an individual contributor while growing into team leadership.
• Present work clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
