Job summary

RTX’s Effector Analog & Power team seeks junior to mid-level engineers with power electronics knowledge to design robust power systems. You will work on non-isolated and isolated converters, from concept to integration, contributing to telemetry, flight termination, and power regulation products.

The role involves hands-on design, analysis, and collaboration within a small team. The position requires a STEM degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or an advanced STEM degree, and offers a path

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 2 years of relevant experience OR an advanced STEM degree.
Design/analysis/test/simulation of non-isolated converter topologies: buck, boost, buck-boost.
Experience with MATLAB or similar tools for design and analysis.
Analog electronics design including FETs/BJTs, op-amps, filters, termination, and comparators.

Responsibilities

Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion and related analog circuitry.
Guide circuit card development from requirements through initial integration testing.
Define schedules for circuit-level tasks and monitor progress.
Direct ECAD drafters for layout/routing and assist with layer stackup definition.
Act as an contributor with potential to grow into a small team lead role.
Present work clearly to functional and program leadership.
