Job summary

Lunar Energy in Mountain View, CA is seeking Electronics Engineers to own the full product development lifecycle of power electronics systems for home energy storage and portable devices.

Ideal candidates are hands-on, comfortable with both simulation and real hardware, and capable of taking products from concept through high-volume production while collaborating with a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering with 3 years of power electronics design experience
• Experience with battery management systems, inverters, and charging systems
• Proficiency with Altium Designer schematic capture and PCB layout

Responsibilities

• Detail-level design of tester interface boards for IoT devices, power electronics, DC/DC converters and inverters
• Bring up and test systems to validate functionality and optimize performance
• Collaborate on test and validation mechanisms for PCBAs and complete systems
• Own electrical aspects from design through prototype, validation and manufacturing
• Debug and troubleshoot down to the component level
