Job summary

Lunar Energy, Inc. is seeking an electronics design intern in Mountain View, CA. You’ll contribute to board design for our home energy storage systems and work with a cross‑functional team from concept through production.

The role emphasizes hands‑on hardware work, simulation and real hardware, and collaboration with mechanical, firmware, EMC and testing engineers. Expect an enthusiastic, learning‑driven environment with exposure to modern EE tools.

Qualifications

• Major in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent evidence of ability.
• Solid understanding of fundamentals of EE.
• Understanding of analog and digital circuits for sensing, communication, power, etc.
• Bring up experience of Electronics design with mixed analog and digital signals.
• Familiarity with lab testing tools and equipment for EE tests.
• Experience with Altium or similar ECAD tool.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to product features, design, and vision using your creativity.
• Design and develop digital and analog electronics and power supplies for home energy system components.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, EMC, RF, design validation, thermal, compliance, reliability, and manufacturing test engineers.
• Perform bring up and debugging of new boards.

Looking for a motivated electronics design intern to join our team and be part of the team that designs the next generation of boards for all of Lunar Energy's products!

An ideal candidate is enthusiastic, eager to learn and ready to collaborate with a dedicated, cross-functional team to create innovative, best-in-class products starting with home energy storage systems. Engineers at Lunar are hands‑on, comfortable with both simulation and real hardware, and able to carry product development from the concept stage through high-volume production.

Our goal is to ensure that all Lunar Energy employees are fairly compensated. Please note that the hourly range information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position provided pursuant to the Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act for California applicants. The hourly range estimate for this position depending on level of experience is $30-$60 USD
